Thanks for Tax – Poll 

At the JustMoney Movement we want to shift the narrative, so that taxes are seen as a blessing and not a burden – an essential part of a thriving society. Taxes can (and should) contribute to public services, to infrastructure and to an economy that works for everyone.  

As Christians we are called to ‘seek the welfare of the city’– the society where God has put us (Jeremiah 29:7). We believe a fair tax system is a vital part of seeking the welfare of modern society – so that everyone has their ‘daily bread’ (Luke 11:3), where we love our neighbours (Mark 12:31), and care for the created world (Genesis 2:15).

We’re also called to give thanks in every circumstance (1 Thessalonians 5:18). There are lots of things that taxes pay for – what are you most thankful for? Pick from our selection below or add your own.
