ECCR has today announced that Janie Oliver, ECCR Executive Director, will be leaving ECCR at the end of January 2021.
Janie joined ECCR in April 2019 and has overseen a period of transformational growth including the establishment, launch and growth of the Money Makes Change programme and the integration of Church Action for Tax Justice into ECCR.
Janie will take up the position of Chief Financial Officer at Stewardship. Stewardship has been helping the UK Christian community since 1906 facilitate giving, receiving and inspiring greater generosity. Last year, they facilitated giving of circa £140 million, purchased Kingdom Bank in partnership with a group of Christian philanthropists and opened a US entity to facilitate giving for those registered for tax in both the US and the UK.
“I leave ECCR with mixed emotions and am proud of all that we have achieved during the nearly 2 years that I’ve been in post. I remain committed to the mission and vision of ECCR and hope to find ways to work together once in my new post.”
Janie Oliver, Executive Director
“We are grateful to Janie for all she has done for ECCR in the last 20 months and are very sorry to see her go. We have started the process of recruiting her successor. We wish Janie well in her new role at Stewardship and hope it will lead to close co-operation between the two organisations”
Christopher Stockwell, ECCR Chair
We are now looking to appoint a successor Executive Director. Applications close on Monday, 4th January at 9am and full details can be found on the Charityjobs website.
