We are excited to invite you to the first in a series of online ‘MoneyTalks’ sessions reflecting on faith, money and the wider economy and exploring how we can engage with all of these as tools to shape a fairer, greener future.

We are delighted that Dr Eve Poole OBE will be leading this first session, reflecting on how we can become salt and light in the economy. Eve has a PhD in theology and capitalism from Cambridge University, is the author of several books including Buying God: Consumerism & Theology and Capitalism’s Toxic Assumptions and is a regular contributor to BBC Scotland’s Thought for the Day.

In her talk Eve will talk about the lure of consumerism and how Christians can use their own consumer behaviour to redeem the marketplace. Using an ordinary bank statement, she will explain how you can fine-tune your own consumer report card so that it serves God and not Mammon.

This is the first in a series of sessions, and further dates and speakers will be announced soon. Please follow us on social media and sign up to our newsletter to keep up to date.
