JustMoney Movement is excited to be involved in Justice & the Economy, an upcoming conference organised by Holy Nativity Church Mixenden, exploring the Church’s response to economic injustice today.
Come and hear speakers including Michael Mather; author of “Having Nothing Possessing Everything” to explore how the church can support those on the margins and, more than that, how the church is called to become an advocate for those who are left behind by our economic structures.
Other speakers include:
- Prof. Chris Baker; William Temple Professor of Religion, Belief and Public Life at Goldsmiths, University of London and Director of Research for the William Temple Foundation, who will be talking about the church’s growing role in shaping public policy.
- Rosie Venner of the JustMoney Movement, who will be talking about ways to shape a more just economy.
- Val Barron of Citizens UK who will be offering advice and insight into community organising at the grassroots level to effect real change.
