Join JustMoney Movement supporters and staff in central Birmingham on Friday 5 May as we take the next step in our Don’t Bank on Plastics campaign.

Come and join us for prayer as we urge HSBC to take action on the global plastics crisis as part of our Don’t Bank on Plastics campaign.

Twenty of the world’s largest banks, including HSBC, have lent an estimated US$30 billion (since 2011) to companies making plastics from fossil fuels, fuelling the single-use plastic waste crisis that harms people and planet.

HSBC is holding its AGM in Birmingham on Friday 5 May.

JustMoney Movement holds a share in HSBC for the purpose of AGM activism. A representative of JustMoney Movement will be attending HSBC’s AGM to ask a question. We’ll be holding HSBC to account on its response to the global plastics crisis.

We are inviting anyone who lives locally to come and support the action in prayer. There will be an (optional) opportunity to be part of a photo to raise awareness of the campaign. You’ll also hear how you can get involved with putting the pressure on HSBC in the coming months.
