Many thanks to all of those who joined us for our Bible study exploring what the Bible says about equality and redistribution.
Between 24-30th October, we ran a series of events called Restoring Hope. In total, eight separate events attracted around 250 people to discuss the relevance of their faith to issues of finance, consumerism and tax justice.
As part of the week, Dr Justin Thacker led three separate small group discussions exploring what the Bible has to say about income and wealth. All three of these studies were sold out, and given that there seems to be a demand for them, we decided to run these on a monthly basis. The studies were free to attend but limited to just 12 people in order to facilitate discussion.
This Bible study exploring what the Bible says about equality and redistribution was sold out and many of the attendees went on to attend the other studies in the series. We had a great time of discussion and reflection, exploring together what the Bible says about equality and redistribution.
